What is The Etiquette Academy of New England?
The Etiquette Academy of New England is an academic institution dedicated to enhancing social skills, improving communication techniques and developing leadership qualities necessary to succeed personally and professionally. Our goal is to help further develop and refine the interpersonal skills needed to navigate the rapidly changing world.
Included in ‘The Best of the New for 2012’ by Boston Globe Magazine we are committed to offering the highest quality programs in the fields of contemporary etiquette, protocol, communication and social skills development. We offer courses for adults and youth ages 7 & up, and our curriculum is based on extensive research and the professional experience of our instructors. Each member of our faculty has hands-on business experience within the areas that they teach, either as consultants and/or entrepreneurs.

What youth classes are offered at The Etiquette Academy of New England?
At the Etiquette Academy of New England we offer programs that concentrate on the development and understanding of respect, ethics, confidence, contemporary etiquette, and social, communication and leadership skills. More importantly, we inspire youth to manage their own behavior at home, at school, on play dates, and in restaurants. Students learn by engaging in role-playing activities, class participation, and improvisation.

What adult programs and workshops are offered at The Etiquette Academy of New England?
The way we communicate and comport ourselves reflects our character, personal values, family, and culture but also on the values of our business or employer. Proper etiquette is an essential social skill set that unfortunately many view as an elite and antiquated custom. Etiquette, however, extends beyond the formal dinner party, and is vital to networking, presentation, public speaking, and print and in-person communication. To be aware of how we present ourselves, and to be able to control how others perceive us, is crucial in feeling comfortable in society and in the professional world. With this in mind, The Etiquette Academy offers adult workshops and lectures aimed at guiding you toward presenting your “best self”. At work. At home. At play. Etiquette for every day.

Partnership Opportunities. We offer partnerships to higher education institutions, corporations, non-profit organizations, hospitality establishments, youth centers and schools. Programs are customized based on the individual needs and interests of each client and are delivered in the form of lectures, half & full day workshops, or on a reccurring schedule.
Community Involvement. At The Etiquette Academy of New England we are committed to giving back to our community. We continually partner with local non-profit organizations such as Dress for Success Boston providing their members with the skills and knowledge they would otherwise not have access to.
Lectures and Public Speeches. We deliver lectures and public speeches on a variety of topics to institutions, corporations, and organizations based on our client’s needs and interests.
Private Groups. The Etiquette Academy can deliver workshops / classes to your particular group and according to your schedule. A minimum of 6 participants is required for a group session. Please reach out to us with a specific class / workshop, dates and times.

We own both URLs .org and .com; however, we choose to operate under .org since we are in education and we advocate for the well being of our community. Our mission is to help individuals improve their social and communication skills, and we strive to inspire leaders within their community to lead by example and influence others to choose the path of kindness, respect and empathy in their daily interactions.
